Senior Actuary

Jeff is a Senior Actuary at CMC and works with clients from the firm’s Kennesaw office.  Jeff is responsible for building strong client relationships, delivering strategic advice and solutions to complex issues, and mentoring and training junior staff.

Jeff has been helping public and private sector clients optimize their employee benefit plans since 1997.  His professional expertise is focused on the strategic, operational, and financial aspects of defined benefit and post employment benefit plans, with an emphasis on risk management.  He has successfully delivered a wide-variety of assignments, including annual valuations, special pricing analyses, plan design studies, financial accounting information, actuarial audits, experience studies, and workforce planning and HR analytics projects.

Jeff co-authored the May 2009 Pensions & Investments article, “New Funding Strategies Promise Flexibility”, and continues to investigate innovative pension and other post employment benefit risk management strategies and techniques. 

Jeff studied physics and mathematics at the University of Florida and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physics with Honors.  He received the Earl and Ruth B. Sawyer Grant, which is awarded to students with the highest GPA in physics.
